Day 3 - Ottawa - Montreal

Bonjour! Comment ca va?
That's Hello! How are you? in French (francais) and why would I write that? I'm in Montreal, a French speaking place!

In the morning I had this cake thing that was bought from a convenience store in Ottawa. It was really good, a sweet, covered with coconut.

Then we drove all the way to Montreal. We're not staying at a hotel this time, so it's different. The hotel back in Ottawa was better. :/

We ate delicious lunch/dinner. I had salmon penne at first but then traded for a linguini... For desert I got frozen banana covered in chocolate sauce and nuts.

After lunch/dinner, we got on a bus to the Jazz Festival. It was pretty cool. First, we went to see what was left of the acrobatics. Then we got to see what was supposed to be hip hop, but looked like more acrobatics to me.
Mango flower (Mangue de fluer)
Then we saw this random band. I though that part was kind of boring. It was also the part where I realized that I was probably breathing more smoke from other people's cigarette's just at the festival than I do on a regular week.
After that we saw four guys peform cool tricks (juggling bowling pins, spin balls, etc.) and perform acrobatics, which was my favourite part of the Jazz Festival, of what I saw of it anyways. Then we bought a cool mango flower (which was a tasty as it was pretty) and went to see actual jazz.
The actual jazz was pretty good too. A lady sang while around seven people played wind instrements, one on the double bass, one on the piano, and one with the drums. In one song they sang accapella, which was really fun to listen to.
So that concludes Day 3 of my road trip! I'll blog tomorrow, hopefully. Cheerio!
